The purpose of this app is to show how the Extract AI task uses Gemini to extract service ticket info from a PDF document.
Target users could be IT or corporate services staff that can use this app to extract specific details from an uploaded service ticket document and establish an initial severity rating. The app user can then take action on the ticket to place under review and finally complete the review.
Note: the actions provided 'Review Ticket' and 'Complete' allow creators to customize the app to log a ticket calling an external ticketing system via a webhook or Apps Script function ... and then complete the request.
To use this app, upload one of the example 'ACME Service Ticket Request Example...' PDF docs. These are made available at: http://goo.gle/aitask-example-files.
You can also create your own PDF service ticket documents if you include similar fields such as: "Description, Department, Address, Region, Contact Email, Phone and Incident date...".
You can also adjust the input columns to match your document.
