How we built this app
We created a table of reminders. The table has a title and body, which are sent to a given email address at a given frequency. The frequency can be daily, weekly, or monthly.
The first thing we did was create a slice for each type of reminder (daily, weekly, and monthly). You can see these under Data > Slices. The row filter condition we used was [Frequency] = Daily (for example) which filters out the data to just those reminders that are sent daily. We made similar slices for Weekly and Monthly.
Next, we created three scheduled reports, one for each frequency. Each report runs on the corresponding slice and operates using the "For each row in table" setting. This means that a separate email will be sent per row.
