This app helps factory inspectors quickly and easily input data about equipment status and/or repair needs. It also includes the ability to add images of failures and a workflow email is fired when an equipment failure is recorded.
This app has views for equipment, inspections, failed Inspections, and a personnel view. It also has an interactive dashboard view of the failures which is best viewed in fullscreen. When a new inspection and failure is recorded a workflow email is sent.
The Dashboard view shows all inspections, equipment, a list of failed Inspections and failed inspection details.

How we built this app
This app takes advantage of the following features:
Grouping
The Table view allows for grouping in the app. Equipment view shows all equipment grouped by location. When you click on a piece of equipment, you'll see the equipment details and related inspections.
Timestamp
Every time a record is submitted, the timestamp is automatically recorded.
Formatting Rules
Formatting is used to highlight unsatisfactory equipment.
Workflow
A workflow email is sent out on adding to the Failure table. The workflow rule's condition AND([Satisfactory?] = "FALSE",[Send Email]="TRUE") triggers the workflow rule when the Send Email column is “TRUE” and the Satisfactory? column is "FALSE".
