This app is designed to track when employees of a company will be out of office. It allows employees to login and enter when they will be out. The outages are displayed in both a calendar view and a table view.

How we built this app

The data associated with this app is stored in a Google Sheet. There are two tables: 'outage' and 'employees'. In the app, the Employees table shows a table view of all employees. The Calendar view shows all past and upcoming outages. It is based on a slice rather than on the table directly. The slice is used so that the 'End date for calendar view' column can be displayed. The Upcoming view is also based on a slice. This is so that only outages that are in the future will be displayed.
