AppSheet bills you automatically on a monthly or annual period (chosen by you on the Billing page) and sends you a short automated email invoice. A more detailed invoice can also be found on your Billing page. Here are some frequently asked questions about invoices.

Does the invoice automatically change if I have more users?

AppSheet only charges you exactly what you indicated in your account Billing page. Charges are never added automatically based on usage. This ensures that you get to control the plan and the number of licenses purchased. If your actual usage goes beyond the plan or license count, you will receive account alerts. However, the invoice is strictly based on what you control via the billing page.


Why are there multiple line-items on my invoice?

Whenever a change is made to an account's plan or license count in the middle of a billing period, the change takes place immediately but the extra charges are not billed immediately. Instead, each change creates 2 pro-rated line items on the next invoice. One item is a credit for the unused remaining time at the older plan level. Any items containing charges found in “( )” are credits. The second item is a new charge for the remaining time at the newer plan level.

If you make 4 changes to your plan in a billing period, you should expect to see 8 pro-rating line items in your next invoice, and one additional line item for the new billing period.


Why is my invoice higher than in the previous period?

Your invoice is higher either because you have moved to a higher cost plan, or have added licenses, or pro-rated charges from the previous period have added to the invoice total.


My accounting department needs some specific information on the invoice. How do I add that?

Go to the bottom of the Billing page and add or edit your invoice descriptor.


Where can I see a history of prior invoices?

You can see your entire history of prior invoices at the bottom of the Billing page


Can I get a hardcopy version of my invoice?

Find the specific invoice at the bottom of the Billing page, click to open it in a browser window and use the browser's print functionality (Control-P) to print the invoice.
