Purpose

The primary purpose of this app is to showcase possibilities with building a custom access system without using security filters.

Design Details

This sample app utilizes Staff, Security Levels, and Incidents tables. Incidents have columns that can only be filled out by Staff with certain Security Levels, with Incidents broken down into smaller slices for those different Security Levels. There are a LOT of expressions to control view access to check out.
Create a new app
Select a template to copy
Set up your new app
Clone your App

Make a copy of table data for the new app

Make a copy of file data (eg: images) for the new app

(Warning: Without copying data, the new app will only work if you have access to the owner's data sources)

Choose a Sheet
To find the ID of a sheet, go to the Smartsheet site, open the Properties of the sheet, and copy the ID property.
