Package Delivery Management
This app allows package managers to see double layer maps.
Construction projects have many different packages or deliveries that need to be tracked to ensure they are delivered on time and to the right building or job site. This app is a fantastic tool for a project/inventory manager to note where a building site is, and where the associated building material packages should be picked up from and dropped-off. Based on the criteria they select, the maps can be a combination of Building Sites (primary layer) and Vendors (secondary layer), Vendors (primary layer) and Package PickUp (secondary layer) etc. Target users of this app are: 1) Inventory managers who are in charge of getting building materials to multiple job sites; 2) Vendors or suppliers of building packages/materials; and 3) Drivers who deliver packages.

How we built this app
Other features include: 1) Create and maintain a list of Vendors, Drivers, and Administrators 2) A bird's-eye view on Building Sites, Vendors, and Packages 3) Add a new package, choose a vendor, and assign this package to a driver 4) Permissions & Filters: The admin can define what data can be accessed by whom 5) Dual-Nature: the app contains functionality for both Drivers and Administrators, switching based on the permissions of the person whose using it 6) Notifications: >>When you assign a package to a driver, that driver receives an email notifying them that they have been assigned a package to deliver. >>When a driver marks the package as delivered, the building-site's administrator receives an email notifying them of that delivery. >>When packages miss their delivery date, a summary email is sent to all the administrators.
