How we built this app

This app is built to demonstrate the double dereference description in this article: https://help.appsheet.com/articles/1090811-dereference-expressions The table structure is Quote > Quote Option > Quote Venue. The goal is to create a view for Quote Venue that shows the Quote Name. This is accomplished by creating a virtual column called QuoteRef in the Quote Venue table. The formula is [Option ID].[Quote ID] and the Type is Ref. Additional virtual columns can then be created that reference QuoteRef and have direct access to information from the Quote table.
This is a preview of the data sets used in the app.
