We built this activity based costing app for a team to clock in and out when a certain activity in a production line is performed. Each employee in the production line enters a new activity through the Start menu and then closes it by selecting it from the Stop menu. All the information is updated real-time to the spreadsheet that hosts the data. This app allows for more advanced analytics to be performed on the collected data: - Average duration per activity - Aggregate cost for specific activities - Current pipeline of activities

How we built this app

We built this app using a combination of AppSheet features: [Google Sheets Connection] The app is connected to a Google Sheet where all the activities are recorded. [Slices and Security Filters] The data is filtered to only show pending items per user. The app needs the user to be signed in to AppSheet to work. [Multiple Tables] The app has multiple tables that provide additional data and resources to the app. [Photos] You can add a photo to any activity. [Dependent Dropdowns] You can narrow down your options for Activity and Stage.
