An app to share interviewer feedback on potential job candidates.
Function: Human Resources
This app helps a team of interviewers at a company keep track of information having to do with each candidate. The Feedback view groups interviewer notes by candidate, making it easy to quickly view that particular candidate’s information recorded by multiple employees. Each interviewer has an email icon next to their name that allows other employees to easily contact each other with questions or comments about a candidate. The candidates view lists each candidate with contact information next to each name for easy access to connecting with that potential hire.

How we built this app
We built this app using two spreadsheets: a Feedback table and a Candidates table. 1. We added two tables to the app using the Advanced Editor > Data > Tables > +Table. You’ll notice there are tiny “chain” icons next to each candidate name-- that’s because we created a reference (Ref) from the Candidates field in the Feedback table to the Candidates table. You can see this in Advanced Editor > Data > Column Structure. When clicking on the chain icon, we’re taken to a view that shows all the information about that candidate (information contained in the Candidates table we’re referencing from the Feedback view). 2. We also created a Candidates view to easily view data about each potential hire. When clicking into a candidate, you’ll notice at the bottom a “View” button-- that’s the Ref at work (a reverse ref in this case). That will take you back to all of the feedback given by the employees that submitted it. 3. The form inside the Feedback view allows employees to record their opinions about the candidates quickly and easily. Notice for many of the questions we chose a Yes/No field type-- this enables interviewers to rapidly answer yes or no questions without having to manually type in “Yes” and “No”.

This is a high-level model of both the data entities and the UI elements in the app.
