The fast path from innovative idea to business app
There are more than a billion people in the world who could use custom mobile apps to be more productive at work. However, whether in a large corporation or in a small business, it has proven way too expensive, complicated, and time-consuming to build apps with traditional code-based programming.
We've taken a different approach by creating an intelligent, declarative, "no-code" app platform. Our mission is to empower all those people to innovate, to create apps themselves, and to use those apps every day with their teams.
Praveen is CEO and full-time coder. Over his career, he has pursued the "dream" of declarative end-user programming in various incarnations. In a previous life, he was a CS professor at Cornell. And in another previous life, he was a partner engineering manager at Microsoft in the SQLServer and Bing teams.
VP of Dev
Brian is passionate about shipping software and solving problems. He has led teams focused on cloud data and mobility, including SQL Server Mobile and SQL Azure. He has worked at Microsoft, and Hulu as well as co-founding several startups including Alau.me and AppSheet.
Phil has decades of experience as a software engineer at Tandem and Microsoft, working on enterprise software, video processing, and mobile systems. He was enjoying retired life on a sailboat in the Pacific, until that got too boring so he joined AppSheet. Go figure!
Tony is a developer with a background in machine learning and natural language processing. He has a PhD in computer science from the University of Washington. When he’s not looking at screenfuls of data, he can be found cooking beans, writing in a tiny notebook, or riding his bike.
Dinh Nguyen Nguyen (Harry)
Harry enjoys reading and writing, both in English and in code. In his free time, he plays the piano and fantasizes about becoming a concert pianist. His more practical ambition, however, is to one day start his own business and build a new search engine, or "knowledge engine", that would reinvent education.
Gil is a mobile developer who is passionate about building high quality apps. He has degrees in Physics and in Material Engineering. In his free time he likes to go on long runs, solve coding challenges and read.
VP of Product
Santiago is a relentless customer advocate. He loves building partnerships and driving customer adoption. Prior to AppSheet, Santiago worked at Microsoft, got an MBA from CMU and worked in international trade development in New York and Bogota, Colombia.
Customer Success and Account Manager
Ryan is our resident outdoor adventurer and customer champion, helping our users find growth and success in all their app development needs. When he’s not busy in office, he enjoys camping, hiking, and exploring all that our beautiful world has to offer.

Drew enjoys helping people solve everyday problems by leveraging technology. He holds a degree from the Military College of Vermont and has spent the last decade working for successful startups like Datadog and Acquia. In his personal time Drew enjoys traveling, hiking, and the Boston Red Sox.
Partner Program Manager
Sopheak supports AppSheet’s partners, providing tools designed to drive success in their business. As a University of Washington student, he studies human-computer interaction during the day, binge-watches Black Mirror at night and every now and then, indulges in a Korean BBQ buffet.
VP of Marketing
Mary’s worked for startups and larger, public companies and always has one common objective in mind: how to move the marketing needle and organization to the next level. A graduate of Stanford University, she is a passionate marketer, mentor, writer, and reader (great works of fiction and non-).
Director of Product Marketing
Peter loves helping teams use new technology to run more efficiently. His background is with SaaS companies like Sprout Social and Zipwhip. He enjoys spending his free time roaming the north cascades with his dog Bo.

Gwen is a marketer who happens to have excellent project management skills! In previous lives she’s also been a journalist and editor, a translator, and a college teacher. She has a master’s in Environmental Science from Duke University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Sarah enjoys using her creativity and problem-solving skills as a Marketing Specialist for AppSheet. She is a dedicated team player who enjoys constantly learning new things. In her spare time, she plays ultimate frisbee, fantasy football, and appreciates all things art.
Madeline loves writing and pairs that with her passion for technology. She writes, edits, and organizes a range of different content types, including product documentation, blog posts, and email campaigns. Madeline is also a student at the University of Washington, where she studies Informatics.
